PANDEMIC ELECTRONIC BENEFIT TRANSFER INFORMATION

Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) is a one-time food benefit for families who lost access to free or reduced-price meals due to school closures.

P-EBT food benefits are for children who received SNAP food benefits for March 2020 and children who are certified for free or reduced-price school meals during the 2019-20 Texas school year. For more information, visit: hhs.texas.gov/PEBT 

La Transferencia Electrónica de Beneficios por Pandemia (P-EBT, por sus siglas en inglés) es un beneficio de alimentos único para las familias que perdieron el acceso a comidas gratuitas o a precio reducido debido al cierre de las escuelas.

Los beneficios de alimentos de la P-EBT son para los niños que recibieron beneficios de alimentos del Programa Asistencial de Nutrición Suplementaria (SNAP, por sus siglas en inglés) para marzo de 2020 y para los niños que estén certificados para recibir comidas gratuitas o a precio reducido en Texas durante el año escolar 2019-20. Promesa Public Schools has a website where parents can login anytime to check your student’s attendance, grades, assignments, and alerts from the school. We call it the Parent Portal. 

NOTE: You must have your unique Student Portal ID. If you don't know your unique Student Portal ID, please call EAPrep at 512.287.5000 (Pre-K-5th grades) and 512.287.5050 (6th-12th grades).

The vision of Parent University is to develop a learning environment for parents so they can have a greater impact on their child’s education.

EAPrep is very proud to announce that we now have a Parent Coordinator for Parent University at both our MLK and Southwest Key campuses. The Parent Coordinator is uniquely qualified to offer support and to strengthen communication for parent involvement within our schools as well as connect you with educational resources such as ESL and Spanish GED classes, PE classes, and cultural art resources for the whole community.


Parent Student Teacher Association (PTSA)

Join the newly formed EAPrep PTSA at our first General Meeting for both campuses. Topics will include the PTSA vision and goals. Attendees will be given the opportunity to become official members for a onetime fee of only $10. All parents and teachers are strongly encouraged to attend.


Student/Parent/Teacher Compact

East Austin College Prep is committed to the belief that each student can reach his/her highest potential for intellectual, emotional and physical growth. Our mission is to provide a rigorous college prep curriculum to prepare our students for graduation, and ultimately success in college and their chosen careers. To achieve this, a partnership is needed among parents, students, teachers and administrators. Together we will create a positive, safe, and drug free learning environment and agree on the following items on the Student/Parent/Teacher Compact. Parents: please sign and return this compact each year to your student's 1st period teacher.
